As Seen In "Elements of Style: Designing A Home & A Life" By Erin Gates
Tuesday, October 28, 2014
Congrats are in order for Boston-based interior designer and style blogger, Erin Gates, on her new home and lifestyle book "Elements of Style: Designing a Home & a Life." In the book, Erin offers her advice and inspiration on designing homes and interior spaces, drawing on a decade of experience. It offers a glimpse into her own home and others that she has designed for clients. Here's a link to her very popular design blog!
We were so happy when Erin picked up one of our popular Patagonia stools, which she placed in her then Boston brownstone guest room, and posted it on the blog. Here's what she had to say:
For this chic bedroom setting, Erin paired our white sheepskin Patagonia stool with other neutral and white accessories and decor.
More recently, Erin has been blogging about the renovation and decoration of her new home in Newton MA, giving us a sense of how a real pro goes through the entire process, and with such great detail. Very invaluable reading for anyone engaged in that kind of project! We also noticed she moved the Patagonia stool to her walk-in closet.
Meanwhile, at Diseño, we can't decide where to place the book in our store; it looks great everywhere! The book is available for purchase here.
Cheers,
Frank Campanale

The guest room is coming along, I love the marble mantle and my new IKEA bed and Jill Rosenwald rug- but most of all I was psyched about this adorable skeepskin stool I found at Diseno Bos- handmade in Patagonia and so friggin’ cool!
