Get The Look: A Touch Of Gold

Get The Look A Touch Of Gold
Gold tones in interior design and decor is one of the hottest trends of 2015. From vibrant metallics to lush furs, it's a color that instantly adds warmth to any room of the house. We set up our own golden decor set so you can see how to incorporate the look.

1. Ceramics in a gold tone are great because they can be used subtly either on shelves or tables. You can go the more traditional route with our gold and brown charger or modern and fun with our Keith Haring inspired figures.

2. Artwork makes for a great attention grabber if you want your room to have focal point of gold. Our Octavio Rojo paintings are rich in gold and orange tones and if you're on a budget, simply take a gold frame and hang it on your wall for a more abstract look. Also pictured below is the "Kimono" collage art piece by Maria Silvia as well as our one-of-a-kind Claudio Giannini "Graffiti" canvas painting.

3. Gold fur accents create a lush and comforting atmosphere to the room. Above, we've used our golden caramel shearling carpet, sheepskin Patagonia stool, and suri alpaca fur pillow. However, if you want to do something more unique try one of our Brazilian metallic dyed hide rugs.

4. Go organic with your materials and try a more earthy approach. Our Spanish recycled glass vessel while technically being green gives off a golden hue especially when light hits it. We decided to adorn it with gold seed pods from Argentina, but you can use other natural materials such as sea shells, pebbles, or rocks. Below is our miniature bronze sculpture with granite base and our natural alpaca horn candlesticks. Adding organic elements such as the seed pods, granite, or horns creates a different layer and dimension to the room.

Worth mentioning in our main image above is also our soft and light weight alpaca wool throw with an intricate herringbone weave design and our adorable stuffed jaguar toy made of organic cotton. With this much gold, your home will be looking rich in no time! So get on trend with this gorgeous color palette.
